The mission of the West Dayton Youth Task Force is to initiate programs for young people of all ages that will instill in them the core values of the Nguzo Saba (The Seven Principles) to foster character development that will produce a future generation capable of building a community and society of their own.
This is to be accomplished by means of study, social and cultural activities, academic and career development activities, as well as involvement in community work.
Saturdays 9am- 1pm
We will have one principal each week as the theme, using the Nguza Saba (7 principles) : Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative, Purpose, Creativity, & Faith

Grades: Kindergarten – 4th grade
3 groups:
1. Kindergarten
2. 1st and 2nd grade
3. 3rd and 4th grade
4 Stations (Approximately 40 minutes):
1. Cultural Awareness
2. Numbers/Math
3. Reading/ Language
4. Chess
* Fee is $5 per class
* Breakfast & snack served
* Parents required to stay 30 minutes at any each station
